How we review.
TrueBroker is a free broker safety checker, and a Trust Score is its 0 to 10 measure of how safe a broker is to deposit with. This page is the method behind that number.
Machines gather and cross-check the evidence. A fixed formula turns it into a score. A human decides whether it publishes. Nobody, human or machine, can move a score for money.
1. Where the evidence comes from
Every review starts with a harvest of the broker’s own site from multiple countries, because brokers serve different legal entities to different places and a one-country view misleads. Every licence the harvest finds is then checked against the register that issued it: the FCA, CySEC, the Seychelles FSA, the UAE regulator and the MiCA register, by name and by number.
Competitor sites are never a source. A claim we cannot trace to a regulator, a legal document or the broker’s own records stays out of the review, and the review says so.
2. How the score is decided
Five criteria, each scored 1 to 10 from the evidence pack: regulation, fees, platform, support and verified trader reviews. The overall score is their unweighted mean, computed before a single sentence of the review is written, by a process that never sees the prose. That order matters: it stops the number drifting to fit the story.
3. Human-led, AI-enhanced
We use automation openly. Software gathers pages from ten countries, cross-checks registers and drafts the review from the verified evidence pack. It adds no facts of its own: anything not in the pack becomes a research question, never a sentence.
The humans hold the gates. An adversarial quality pass re-verifies claims at source and tries to break the review’s central conclusion. A human editor decides whether it publishes, takes responsibility for it, and signs the corrections when we get something wrong. Reviews carry both names: who wrote it and who checked it.

4. What can never change a score
Money. Brokers can rent a labeled slot on the board, and some reviews carry an account-opening link that pays us a commission. Both are disclosed where they appear, and neither touches a score, a verdict or a red notice. Reviews are written before any commercial conversation, and a conclusion is never edited because a deal appeared.
5. Corrections
Wrong is wrong, and we say so within five business days of a valid correction request. Use the support form and pick Wrong score. Score history is public in the app, so a silent edit would break our own record.
