Red notices.
A red notice is a confirmed warning about a specific firm. We investigate before we publish, and filing a knowingly false report gets you removed.
1. What a red notice is
A red notice is a published warning attached to a named firm. It is issued when we have verified evidence of behaviour that puts trader money at risk: frozen withdrawals, a cloned or fabricated licence, a phishing portal impersonating a real broker, or pressure tactics from a sales desk.
A red notice is separate from a low Trust Score. A firm can score reasonably and still carry a notice if something specific and serious has happened.
2. Severity levels
SCAMPHISHINGWATCHRESOLVED
- SCAM: verified theft or refusal to return client funds
- PHISHING: a clone site or portal impersonating a legitimate firm
- WATCH: a credible pattern of complaints, still under investigation
- RESOLVED: the issue was fixed or the evidence did not hold up
Resolved notices stay visible. Removing them would hide the history that made the warning useful.
3. How a report becomes a notice
- A trader files a report naming the firm and the reason
- We check the claim against public records, regulator registers and any other reports filed against the same firm
- A single unconfirmed report is not published. A pattern that survives checking is
- Once published, the notice appears in the alerts feed and on that broker’s own profile
Reports are investigated before publication, not after. That is slower, and it is the reason a notice means something.
4. How to report a firm
Use the report flow in the app, or write to [email protected]. Scam reports jump the queue and are usually reviewed within hours.
A report is deliberately short. It takes the broker name and one reason:
- Cannot withdraw
- Fake licence
- Phishing clone
- Pressure tactics
You do not need an account and we never ask you to upload anything, so a report carries nothing that identifies you. If you want to send us evidence, link to something you host yourself. See the privacy policy.
Filing a report you know to be false is grounds for permanent removal.
5. If you are the broker
Firms can dispute a notice by writing to [email protected] or using the support form and picking Broker dispute. Send the evidence. If we got it wrong we correct it and say so.
Paid placement has no bearing on this. See the Partners policy.
