NO EVALUATION, NO FREE LUNCH
Instant funding prop firms.
TrueBroker is a free broker safety checker, and this page is its record of instant funding: the prop firm accounts sold with no evaluation, what each costs, and the rules that replace the test you skipped. Every entry comes from a review on our record, with the date it was read.
What is instant funding?
Instant funding is a funded account you buy and do not have to earn. There is no challenge to pass: you pay, the account opens, and profit can become a payout once the firm’s conditions are met. The price of skipping the test shows up in the rules. Loss limits on the instant accounts we have read run from 3 to 8 percent, and several carry a consistency rule or a lower starting split than the same firm’s evaluations.
Which prop firms sell instant funding, and what does it cost?
Maven Trading 4.1 RISKY
- Instant, $14 to $342 with the coupon live that day 3 percent trailing loss limit, 2 percent daily, 3 percent profit needed before a withdrawal, 20 percent consistency score, 80 percent split.
FXIFY 5.6 RISKY
- Instant Funding Lite, $19 to $289 20 percent consistency rule. No refundable fee.
- Instant Funding Standard, $69 to $4,249 8 percent trailing loss limit, 8 percent daily. No refundable fee.
Alpha Capital Group 5.2 RISKY
- Alpha Direct, $20 to $897 5 percent trailing loss limit, 3 percent daily, leverage 1:30.
FundingPips 5.4 RISKY
- Zero, $60 to $888 5 percent trailing loss limit, 3 percent daily, 95 percent split paid every two weeks.
City Traders Imperium 6.1 OK-ISH
- Instant Funding, from $79 6 percent static drawdown, no daily limit. The split is a ladder: 50 percent at Level 1, 70 at Level 2, 80 from Level 3.
- Direct Funding, $229 to $3,999 6 percent static drawdown, no daily limit, 70 percent split, first payout on demand from day 5.
Six of the eleven firms on our record sell evaluations only: FTMO, Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, The 5%ers, Earn2Trade and E8 Markets.
What do you give up by skipping the evaluation?
- The fee refund. FXIFY returns the assessment fee with the first withdrawal on its 1, 2 and 3 Phase plans, and its instant accounts carry no refundable fee. City Traders Imperium refunds the 1-Step and 2-Step fee at a 10 percent profit; on Instant Funding you get a 50 percent share of the Level 1 milestone instead.
- Room to be wrong. Maven Trading’s Instant runs a 3 percent trailing limit and 2 percent daily, against 8 percent static and 4 percent daily on its standard two-step.
- The headline split. City Traders Imperium pays 80 percent on its challenges, 70 percent on Direct Funding, and starts Instant Funding at 50 percent.
- Sometimes, money. FundingPips’ Zero costs $60 for a $5,000 account, against $29 for its cheapest evaluation at the same size.
Is an instant funded account real capital?
Not at any of the five firms above, by their own terms. FundingPips, Alpha Capital Group and Maven Trading say plainly that the funded stage is simulated. FXIFY’s binding terms call the trading simulated and the funds fictitious, while its help centre says a passed assessment gives a live account. Two of City Traders Imperium’s programme pages say “Real funding from the start, no simulation or test”, and its terms say “All accounts made available through the services are simulated demo accounts”. When the marketing and the contract disagree, the contract is the one a payout dispute is decided on.
Who is instant funding for?
It suits a trader with a method that already holds up, who wants to skip the test and has sized positions to the drawdown rule before paying: on a 3 percent trailing limit, a $100,000 account ends $3,000 below its high. It does not suit anyone buying it because an evaluation was failed. Where a firm sells both, price the instant account against its own cheapest evaluation, and read what the free trials are worth first.
Fair questions
What is instant funding at a prop firm?
An account sold without an evaluation: you pay, and you trade the firm's funded stage from day one. The trade is a tighter loss limit and, at some firms, a lower profit split or no fee refund. At FXIFY and City Traders Imperium the refund their evaluations carry does not apply to the instant products.
Which prop firms offer instant funding?
Of the eleven firms TrueBroker has reviewed, Alpha Capital Group, City Traders Imperium, FundingPips, FXIFY and Maven Trading sell accounts with no evaluation. FTMO, Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, The 5%ers, Earn2Trade and E8 Markets sell evaluations only. Prices and rules are listed on this page, each read on a stated date.
Is instant funding real money?
Not on our record. The terms of all five firms selling instant accounts describe simulated trading. City Traders Imperium's programme pages say "Real funding from the start, no simulation or test" while its own terms say every account is a simulated demo account. The payout, when it comes, is real.
What is the cheapest instant funded account?
On our record, FXIFY's Instant Funding Lite at $19 and Alpha Capital Group's Alpha Direct at $20, both for a $2,500 account at list prices read in July and August 2026. Maven Trading's Instant was $14 for a $2,000 account with a coupon that was live on 13 August 2026.
Who does instant funding suit?
A trader who already has a tested method, wants to skip the test and has read the drawdown rule first: a 3 to 6 percent limit on an account bought outright can end it in a day, with the fee gone. Compare the instant price with the same firm's cheapest evaluation before paying.
THE SHORT VERSION
Instant funding swaps the evaluation for a higher price or tighter rules, and on our record the account is still a simulation. Five of the eleven prop firms we have reviewed sell it, from $19 at list for a $2,500 account. The firms are ranked on best prop firms, and their payout claims are checked on the payout record.
