IN THE MAS DIRECTORY · RANKED BY TRUST SCORE

Best forex and CFD brokers in Singapore.

TrueBroker is a free broker safety checker, and this page is its ranking of forex and CFD brokers with a Singapore company in the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Institutions Directory. Every broker below was found in that directory, with the legal name it returns, and the order is trust score alone. Nobody pays to be on it.

On 15 October 2026, TrueBroker holds 9 brokers whose licence it found in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory; IG holds the highest trust score at 7.9 out of 10, the lowest on the list is 6.1, and no position is paid for.

RANKED BY LIVE TRUST SCORE · EACH LICENCE AS THE REGISTER RETURNS IT · A LICENCE IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION

It is a short list because it only holds brokers we have reviewed in full and then found in the directory ourselves. A broker missing from it is not on our record with a confirmed Singapore entry; that is not a finding against it.

What does the MAS directory show, and what does it leave out?

It shows the company, the type of licence and the activities that licence permits. Every company above is listed as Capital Markets Services licensees, and each entry lists over-the-counter derivatives contracts among its permitted products. The entries for Interactive Brokers, Saxo and Moomoo also list spot foreign exchange contracts for leveraged foreign exchange trading.

What it leaves out is the licence number. The directory publishes none, so the CMS numbers that OANDA, Plus500, Interactive Brokers and Moomoo quote on their sites could not be verified against it. That is a limit of the directory and not a mark against those firms. It does change how you check: match the exact company name, including the Pte. Ltd., because the number will not help you.

Which CFD trading platform in Singapore should you pick?

Start from the company and work outward. The trust score beside each name comes from five criteria: regulation checked at the registers, fees, platform, support and trader reviews, and each review sets out the costs and the platforms it found. One of them, Moomoo, sits in our stock category. If you are comparing costs, compare the same instrument at the Singapore company, since a group’s other entities publish different terms. New to the product? What a CFD is covers the mechanics and the costs.

What happens to your money if a Singapore broker fails?

We do not know yet, and we would sooner say so than guess. The money protection tool maps each regulator to what its compensation scheme pays, read at the official source, and it does not yet cover MAS. Ask the broker in writing what happens to client money if the Singapore company fails.

Is a trading app in Singapore safe to use?

A trading app is the front end of a broker, so the question is the same one: which licensed company is behind it. An app that names no company anywhere fails the first check, and an app that names one can be checked the way every entry above was. Paste the app’s name or its website into the legit check, which reads the board, the regulator warning lists, clone detection and the domain’s age before you install anything.

How is this ranking made?

The order is the live output of our scoring method: five criteria, verified at source, recomputed daily, with nothing paid. Being on this list means one thing only, that we found the licence on the register. The score beside each name is the judgement, and the review behind it holds the receipts. The global ranking is on best CFD brokers, and the full catalogue is on the board.

Fair questions

What is the best forex broker in Singapore?

TrueBroker does not name one by opinion. It ranks the brokers it found in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory by trust score, re-ranked daily, and the list at the top of this page is the answer on the day you read it. Nobody pays for a place on it.

Which CFD brokers are licensed by MAS?

On TrueBroker's record, IG, CMC Markets, OANDA, Plus500, Interactive Brokers, Swissquote, MultiBank Group, Saxo and Moomoo each have a Singapore company in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory as a Capital Markets Services licensee, with over-the-counter derivatives among the listed activities.

Can I check a MAS licence number?

Not against the directory. The MAS Financial Institutions Directory shows the company, its licence type and its permitted activities, but publishes no licence numbers, so a CMS number a broker quotes cannot be verified there. Match the exact company name instead.

Does a MAS licence come with a compensation scheme?

TrueBroker's money protection table does not yet cover MAS, so we make no claim either way. Ask the broker in writing what happens to client money if the Singapore company fails.

THE SHORT VERSION

Every broker on this page has a Singapore company we found in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, ranked by a trust score nobody can buy. The directory confirms the company, its licence type and its permitted activities, and publishes no licence numbers, so match the exact company name. Run any other name through the legit check before you fund an account.
